Twin Cities Newspaper Announces Top Projects: Andersen Featured in 6

Finance & Commerce recently announced the winners of its annual Top Projects list, and six of the 10 commercial construction projects featured Andersen® products.

Of the six winning projects featuring Andersen, one is a senior living community and another is an affordable housing project. The other four are apartment complexes. Finance & Commerce is a Twin Cities business newspaper.

“Receiving this recognition creates awareness of our capabilities,” said Nathan Treloar, Andersen’s strategic account manager for the commercial segment. “We are winning more because of our experience and our customers trusting us.”

Nathan was particularly excited about the Hawthorne Ecovillage affordable housing project in Minneapolis, which features 100 Series single-hung windows and 200 Series inswing patio doors.

“The owner-developer, Project for Pride Living (PPL), is a nonprofit that could have gone bare bones with everything,” he said. “They didn’t because they want the building to last.”

The projects that used Andersen included three apartment complexes in Minneapolis ― Foundry Lake Street, Hawthorne EcoVillage Apartments and M on Hennepin ― in addition to The Finn in St. Paul, Lofts at Mayo Park in Rochester, Minn.; and Zvago at Glen Lake in Minnetonka, Minn.
