Andersen Corporation Takes Home Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal’s Manufacturer of the Year Award
Andersen has been named Manufacturer of the Year in the large business category by the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal.
The Business Journal’s annual Business of Manufacturing Awards highlight companies and leaders in the manufacturing industry that drive the Twin Cities region's economy and grow their businesses through innovation and strategic evolution.
Andersen was recognized for its continued drive to innovate different and better products for customers, unprecedented growth in recent years including expansions in Bayport and Cottage Grove (Renewal by Andersen) and a new facility in Goodyear, Ariz., as well as the company’s commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion in the workplace and communities.
“We are really focused on creating a culture that’s welcoming to all,” said Chris Galvin, Andersen’s senior vice president of manufacturing and logistics, in an interview with the publication. “We call it an ‘all together philosophy,’ one that emphasizes how we share the company’s success. Hiring is important, but it’s also crucial to have a place where there is so much employee engagement that retention stays high. Making sure we are that place is a companywide effort.”
Andersen employees accept the Manufacturer of the Year Award at the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal’s recognition event on Dec. 5, 2019.
