At Andersen, we believe in making a difference in the communities where we live and work. This was vividly demonstrated one month ago during the 2024 Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project, co-hosted by Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity and Habitat for Humanity International.

Diamond Sponsor

As a Diamond Sponsor, Andersen contributed a remarkable $1 million to the project. This support included a combination of in-kind window donations and financial contributions, underscoring our dedication to community development and affordable housing.

100 Series Window Donation

Andersen donated more than 600 Andersen® 100 Series windows made from our environmentally responsible Fibrex® composite material. These windows were installed at The Heights redevelopment, Twin Cities Habitat’s largest-ever development delivering more than 1,000 housing units providing a stable foundation for families to thrive. This all-electric community is set to transform St. Paul’s East Side, with the potential to be one of the most energy efficient developments ever created in Minnesota.

Hands-On Volunteerism

Our commitment goes beyond financial support. Over 150 Andersen team members volunteered their time and skills, with more than 30 team members installing Andersen windows on-site during the final day of the week-long event. This hands-on involvement not only helped build homes but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and teamwork among our team members.

Andersen’s community relations team, led by passionate individuals like Anna Bosak and Traci Norum, organized the volunteer effort. Anna shared, “I always have a passion for helping people in need and giving back to my communities.”

Traci added: “Time and time again, I hear from nonprofits about the outstanding volunteers we have at Andersen. It speaks for our company and the individuals.”
