Innovation

We imagine what's possible

Innovation is a mentality that’s woven into everything we do. From revolutionizing the window and door shopping experience to optimizing our end-to-end manufacturing operations to designing new products for the way people live, we're always thinking about how we can create better experiences for everyone.

Innovating throughout Andersen

    Materials

New materials can make a big difference in several ways. Our proprietary Fibrex® material, used throughout our products and as a core component of our 100 Series windows and doors, not only benefits product performance, but also allows us to be more sustainable. It's made with wood fiber reclaimed from our manufacturing process and is twice as strong as vinyl.

We're not just innovating to create better products for our customers, we're also focused on creating better shopping experiences. Through new technology like augmented reality (AR), we're allowing our customers to see exactly what our products will look like in their home — taking the guess-work out of their home improvement projects.
We’re transforming our manufacturing operations through investments in precision automation connected by advanced digital ecosystems. This innovative approach to advanced manufacturing is changing the way we work and delivering step-change improvements to product quality, process reliability, and employee welfare.
